All contractors that work for Tended Cleaning Services are vetted in a process that take experience, character, and ability to solve problems into account. We are clear about how we hire, what we offer, and keep an open line of communication between us, our staff, and our clients.

Requirements:

• Must be age 19+

• Must have a driver’s license/ID and/or dependable transportation (private or public)

• Must have a background check if accepted (and having a record doesn’t always mean you can’t work for us)

• Must be able to speak, read, and write basic English

• Have at least one year of cleaning experience of General Cleaning Professional (or any proof of experience for Organizing Expert)

• Must have their own cleaning supplies (cleaning products, a bucket, a mop or Swiffer, a broom, a sponge, a rag, and cleaning gloves at the minimum)

• Must be able to work in Essex, Union, Middlesex, Hudson, and/or Morris counties in NJ

Preferences:

• Have 2+ years of cleaning experience

• Have at least one year of customer service experience

• Speak Spanish, Haitian Creole, or both

• Giving us a reference we can contact or proof of your work
