TENDED CLEANING SERVICES was founded on simple belief: that cleaning is an act of care and a public service. To clean is not just a skill, but a way to improve one’s environment, which in turn improves their physical and mental well-being.
THIS IS WHY TENDED takes choosing their contractors seriously. We want people that are serious about bringing respect, empathy, warmth, and a sense of community to each home they clean or organize. Every client should feel like they not only received great service but were treated with great care. That is how trust is built.
BUT CARE ISN’T JUST FOR CLIENTS. Tended works to make sure contractors are paid fairly, consider those with records for hire, and has a vetting system for clients as well to protect our contractors’ safety. Tended doesn’t work without the contractors who complete the jobs.
WE SERVE PEOPLE across Essex, Union, Middlesex, Hudson, and Morris Counties in New Jersey. We are a community-centered cleaning service agency that is proud to serve the area we call our home.

“I created Tended Cleaning Services after being inspired to develop something that contributed to people’s health in an immediate, tangible way. As a public health professional with 13 years of experience in healthcare, home health agencies, health tech start ups, schools, and local government, I have seen the difference in impact between giving people information to better their health and providing a direct service that does.
Every home deserves to be a sanctuary where the people living in it have the space to be free. Many times, our homes reflect how cluttered our minds and lives can get. Tended is here to provide cleaning as care. We want to give you your space back, physically and mentally. That’s why it’s so important for us to have professionals on our team that are not only good at cleaning, but also good to people.”
